disappointed with the new prescription glasses

I received my sons glasses todayand must say I am more than disappointed. It appears that the RX is correct, however the two lenses are different. The left lense is quite thick and heavy. While the right lense is thinner and lighter. It seams that we have got one (left) standard lense and one (right)thin lense, on the frames.What cause that?

Is the right eye prescription same as the left one?
