I know little about progressive lenses, i have never wore this kind of glasses. I aways buy bi-focal eyeglasses, but the optometrist told me they are the same. Are they really the same! Which one is better? Much appreciate for your reply! Thank you very much!

Actually,they have several differences.Bifocals eyeglasses lenses are usually prescribed for people over the age of 40 whose focusing ability has declined because of presbyopia. The lens is split into two sections; the lower part for near vision and the upper part is for distance vision;while the progressive eyeglasses lenses have a continuous gradient lens which focuses progressively closer as one looks down through the eyeglasses lens.
