Default Bifocal or progressive eyeglasses?

I need an other Rx power for my eyeglasses, exactly, for reading, so bifocal and progressive eyelgasses are my best choices, I want to know which one is better, do bifocal eyeglasses always mean an old age?

Some one think that bifocal eyeglasses are a sign of "old age", but I think that's not necessary, many young need to wear bifocals because of the using of computers, if this is your first time to wear multifocals, I suggest you can try progressive eyeglasses, they will give you the same vision as nomal eyeglasses, you will get used to them soon!

And you should not choose a much too small eyeglasses frames for your progressive lenses, as they are multi focal points, the top part is for distance view and the lower portion is for near vision, and their is a transition zone between the two part, normally, you should choose the height more than 28mm of the eyeglasses frame.
