the photochromic lenses?

I received the glasses today, the glasses case was crushed but the glasses were intact. I have tried the glasses on in the bright sun and they did not change colour at all, I was wondering if they have the photochromic lenses as requested? I believed that they would be clear inside and change to tinted sun glasses in the sun.
