    Default the differences between single vision lenses and bifocal lenses

    What are the differences between single vision lenses and bifocal lenses, and do the bifocal lenses cost extra?

    Bifocal glasses can be used for both far distance or close reading while the single vision glasses can only be used for one purpose. That is the major difference.
