I would like to buy a pair of rimless frame for my high prescription which is -8.00 for both eyes,is that possible?

Your prescription is doable for rimless frame,but will not look very nice. Even if you do use a high index thin lens it will still have significant thickness toward the edges. with your strong prescription,I would recommend against a rimless frame.
