lenses were delaminating

Hi last year I purchased a pair of glasses for my husband on the internet and a lensfell out the other day and we took them to one of our local optometrists who put the lense back in for us but he informed us that the lenses were delaminating and as the glasses are not yet a year old,can i ask the online store to replace the lenses at their expense?
