Anti Reflective and Anti-radiation (AR) coating improves both the vision and the appearance of the glasses. It is layered metal oxide coatings applied to both sides of the lens that greatly reduce both the internal and external the reflections off the lens surface while allowing more light through. At night AR coatings are especially effective by considerably reducing the annoying glare, reflections and halos around lights making it much more comfortable and safer for driving at night. So it is practical to get AR for your glasses.
