high-index plastic lenses problem

I recently bought high-index plastic lenses and cannot see as well as with my previous CR-39 plastic lenses. My distance vision are not good enough. My dotor thinks it may be the new material. What do you think?Should I give up these expensive lenses?

It could be the material. It could also be the position of the lenses on your face, the angle of the glasses, the size of the lenses any many other factors.If nothing makes this problem better, I would suggest you should try a different lens.
