my eyes had been also suffered from hyperopia to a months ago

I was told by my doctor that my eyes had been also suffered from hyperopia to a months ago, so, that's the reason why I choose to buy a pair of bifocal eyeglasses, but the poblem is there's a line in the middle of the lenses, I cannot get used to it quickly, I just want to know is that nomal?
