I need advice for frame size and lens material. I have a high powered bifocal prescription.
Here is my bifocal prescription

Right eye +6.25 ds
Left eye +5.75 -1.00 110
add +2.50


Do I have to sacrifice good appearance in order to get that as visual sharpness is very important to me in a lens?

choose a high index bifocal lenses & select a smaller size frame
That is the suggestion from my doctor, cause i have a similar strong Rx as yours.
